On June 19, the Chicago Sky won their fifth consecutive game, 91-81 over the Connecticut Sun at Chicago's Wintrust Arena.
Winning that many consecutive games has only been achieved three times in franchise history. There has only been one winning streak that has ended at five games for the Sky (July 7-0, 2013). Chicago has two six-game winning streaks in its 15 seasons (May 30-July 13, 2012 and Aug. 15-31, 2013).
Guard Allie Quigley surpassed Sylvia Fowles for the most double figure scoring games in franchise history. Quigley has now scored at least 10 points 160 times in a Sky uniform.
The Sky (7-7) begins a five-game road trip on Tuesday, June 22 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, to take on the New York Liberty (6-6) at 6 p.m. CT. Sky fans can tune into WCIU The U or stream via Amazon Prime Video to follow the action. Chicago and New York will conclude their regular season series with another game from Brooklyn on Thursday, June 24.
